What happens at my first appointment?
While your dog gets comfortable in the studio we will require some information from you, your contact details, your dogs details, vet information and any problems your dog may have, i.e. health or behavioural problems. We will then examine your dogs coat and discuss grooming needs, we will them be able to give you a price for the grooming and advise you of a collection time.

How long will my dogs grooming take?
This will all depend on some relevant factors, including your dogs breed, coat condition, age temperament, and type of groom booked. The welfare of your pet is paramount to us so some appointments may take longer than others.

How will you Dry my Dog?
Here at K9Beauty we don't believe in cage dryers as to get the finished result that we look for your Dog will have to be dried by hand using a combination of a super absorbent industry pet towels and a high power animal hair dryer.

Can I stay with my pet?
Most dogs behave much better without their owners there to distract them so to get your dog’s full co-operation we must have their undivided attention and with their beloved owners watching in the wings they can get over excited. Your are welcome to bring a treat in for them after their grooming or a toy if your prefer.

Will my dog be caged?
For safety reasons in the studio we are unable to have dogs running loose but all cages have plenty of space and provide full view of the studio so they will never be on their own.

Do you groom any size of dog?
Yes! We will groom any size of dog; all our equipment is large enough to take the largest of breed.

I can’t make my appointment.
Please call  ASAP to reschedule your appointment as we run a cancellation list at all times and we may be able to let another client use your time. If a telephone call is not received then a 50% cancellation charge will be added to your next invoice. We hope you understand our policy.
